It’s been too long…

Hey guys, it’s me. It’s been ages since I last wrote. Sorry about that. Busy doesn’t even come close to describing it. I’ve made a few new friends on the site and just wanted to say thanks to everyone who’s dropped me a line. I WILL answer as many of your questions as I can this month so keep an eye out. Just scroll to your comment (if you had a question for me) and I will have tried to answer it right below your comment. If I can’t get to all of you this month, I’ll try to next month. I’m headed to Wyoming tomorrow for a 5 day backpacking/fly fishing trip with one of my buddies Mike and a few of his friends. It should be quite the adventure. A twenty mile hike in one day for five days of 5 pound trout. You can’t beat that. I’ll be unreachable until the 15th of August. Pray that I don’t meet any of the large local Grizzlies up there. I’m going to be in Utah for a few days after that AND I’ll be playing some music shows out there too. I play the evening of the 15th at Hogle Zoo for the Utah Summer Concert Series. I don’t know what time yet but it should be good fun. My brother-in-law Jeremy is going to back me on some vocals. It should be a great set of old and new originals so if you can, come on out. I’ll try to post again to give you the exact time, but you could probably find it online if you search for it. Also I’ll be headlining a small and intimate “music in the park” show on Friday the 18th in Provo, UT. Again, I don’t the name of the park right now but I’ll for sure post again to drop the details. I just realized that I’m a slacker. It should be a really chill evening for some acoustic stuff though. Skye will be there backing me for that one so come check it out. I’ll be playing a 45min. to 1hr. set of mostly originals. Bring a date and a blanket. There will be two cool bands opening for me including one of my best buddy, KC Clyde’s, little brother John’s band. John put this together and is a total champion. Check back for the details. Anyway, thanks for all the love everyone. I hope to see you out at a show. One more thing…I have some new film stuff in the works so stay tuned. Cheers to you all. Corbin

Hey Corbin! Just want to say that I think you’re great, and I enjoy all of your work! Just had a chance to watch Take a Chance and I loved it, laughed the whole way through. Also, I wanted to say thanks for the shout out to our troops you posted a while back. My husband is in Iraq right now and it’s so touching to hear those kind words! Keep up the good work!

Thanks,

Tricia L.

BIOGRAPHY

Corbin Allred was born on May 25, 1979 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Michael and Diane Allred. He is the second oldest of four. Growing up in an extremely close family, Corbin’s parents, his older brother Jason, and two younger sisters, Aleece and Kelsey were and are his biggest supporters and fans. From the very beginning, Corbin developed a serious imagination. Pretending to be someone else was always a favorite past time. During one year at Oakdale Elementary he gave a haunting performance playing Banquo in the schools production of Shakespeares Macbeth. He loved being in front of people and causing them to feel emotion. This was only the beginning. Who would of have thought back then that this performance would be the first of his career? Nobody had a clue about what was to come, especially not Corbin. One day, when Corbin was about 11 years old, he was hanging out at a close friends house. His friends mom announced that it was time to go to “clogging” practice. Corbin had no idea what this woman was talking about. His friend then informed him that he had started taking dance classes at a local studio and that he had to go to clogging class that night
