Hey Corbin how’s it going for you? I just realized when you were married on January 22nd, that was the same day I was confirmed into the Mormon church. I have to say it’s thanks to you I found this religion. I tried to join back in the late 90’s but my dad wasn’t allowing me to. I’m glad I decided not to worry about his thoughts, but more of Heavenly Fathers. This is a great site you’ve made up in keeping your fans updated. I hope you are okay with my site. I want to get into acting myself, which I did some in high school, but I’m a bit skeptical about it, cause it’s hard for me to say no. I know I’d say no to sex scenes, I wouldn’t do that at all Mormon or not. Anyway, keep enjoying yourself and say hi to your girl Mackenzie. God bless you Corbin.

Comment by Wendy — June 16, 2006 @ 4:40 am

Hey Corbin, havent seen you in years well since you were in Devonport Tasmania all them years ago. Just leaving you a message to both say hi and to let you know that im alive. Hope life is treating you well and hopefully one day in the future we will run into each other again.

Comment by David Habben — June 16, 2006 @ 4:44 am

Well, I didn’t really want to sign this, but Corbin paid me A LOT of money because he knew that when my fans saw my name on here, they would all jump on the band wagon and then tell their friends who would tell their friends who tell their friends etc. etc. etc. until he became the world wide phenomenon that he is destined to become.

Glad that I could help out the cause. (Now where’s my cash?)

I saw you at the SCERA perfomance. It rocked big time. Thanks for letting me get my picture with you! You’re a fabulous actor, like in the one movie with the extremely long title (something about the dad not eating dessert until he’s done with mowing the lawn or something, Moonpie), I also thought you were great in Saints and Soldiers. I have yet to see Christmas Mission, but I do know the director, so I really need to see it. Anyway, great show, I look forward to the relese of your cd.

Corbin, It’s been a while. I just watched your movie “Saints and Soldiers” on the History Channel. Good flic and great job! I also saw you on CSI a while back. It made me curious to see what you’re up to and I found your website online. Great website! By the looks of the photos, it looks like Van Rooy is helping you with it. Tell him good work and what’s up. Congrats on your wedding. Take it easy, hope all is well, and best wishes with all you do.

Comment by C Turner — June 16, 2006 @ 4:57 am

hello. i just saw saints and soldiers. it was great, although i must confess i was saddened quite a bit at the fact that the cimmander guy and the deacon guy and the hicky guy all died. Very sad. Anyways, you’re a great actor, nice that you don’t accept offers that compromise your morals, i really admire that.

Comment by Casey — June 16, 2006 @ 4:57 am

Hi corbin,
i must say i just recently became a fan of yours.
I just saw Anywhere but here.
And i was jumping through channels and saw the last bit of Saints and soldiers.(Great job by the way)
I watch CSI all the time, they play reruns on spike so i will be watching for yours.
You are a very good actor and i can’t wait to see your upcoming projects.
I just recently got hitched myself, so good luck with your marriage.
I live all the way in boring old Ohio but maybe someday i’ll hear that music of yours.
Good luck with everything you do.

Comment by Britney Garrett and Family — June 20, 2006 @ 8:20 pm

Hey Corbin, I like your last name. :) I know you hear this all the time from LDS fans, but THANK YOU for the work that you do. It is so refreshing. I just watched “Saints and Soldiers” for the first time over the Thanksgiving holiday & now I want to buy it. It was so good. I have been following your career since before you left on your mission, and have been a little disappointed lately due to your not being in many movies or shows! I think your best performance (besides “Saints,”) was your role on CSI. GREAT acting. I watch that episode whenever possible. It looks like you are doing a few more movies, now, so that’s awesome. The entertainment world could use more good people like you. Please keep up the good work. Congratulations on getting married! That’s really cool. Marriage is so much fun. Take care… I hope (for the sake of good people everywhere), that your movie career is long and prosperous.

Corbin, hope you are well. My name is Paul Doyle from Dublin, Ireland and 26 years of age. I heard of you whilst doing private research on the different religious affiliations of people in the public domain such as state people, celebreties, sports personalties, etc., throughout the world. The research was interesting as it showed that a wide group of people, black or white, working-class, single parents etc., are influenced by the behaviour and religion of someone in the public eye,and this can lead to many positive benefits for the different religion involved, providing the ‘famous’ individual is a good role-model.
Although, I am a practising catholic myself, I am familiar with some aspects of the LDS religion and have nothing but admiration and respect for the many young men and women whom preach your religion. I was fortunate to experience a conversation with two Elders this Summer, in which I attended a mormon church ceremony. I found the whole experince uplifting and it gave me a renewed positive outlook on life. The mormon religion in Ireland is growing quite steadily and there are currently a small number of thousand members of the LDS church. From reading materials on you , quotes you have said, you appear to possess the good qualities of people I have met in the mormon religion. I have seen some of your work on TV such as CSI and ER and these were very impresssive performances. I admire your stance on not doing film roles, scenes, that conflicts with your religion. That is a true charactaristic of a thoughtful and genuine person. I would like to see the film Saints and Soldiers soon. Anyway, I just thought I’d drop in and say hello and share some thoughts from the other side of the atlantic, well done on the website too! By the way, if you’ve never visited Ireland, please consider doing so. It is a great place to see and I’m sure you’d be well impressed.Good luck, with best regards, Paul Doyle

Comment by Paul Doyle — June 20, 2006 @ 8:24 pm

Okay, this is totally a long shot. I work with a magazine in Provo and we’re doing interviews with Mormon actors for our February issue. We’re having a crazy time getting contact info, but if you’re interested or just want more details, since I’m not sure how much I should give over the guestbook, contact me at my email address. Thanks!!!

In November I went and saw Corbin Allred in Orem with Larry Bagby and Kirby Heyborne. I am really in love with Kirby though, but Corbin was cool. When they were all signing autograpghs, they got this really funny pic for some girl with all of them (Corbin, Kirby, Larry, and Larry’s guitar player) like a prom picture. It was so funny because they had their arms around each other with the girl in the middle just standing there. So I got a picture from the side. It was so funny. Then when they were done Corbin came up to me and patted me on the back and told me, “Now I better not see that on the internet.” It was so cool because my friend is now in love with him and he talked to me. It was really cool!

Hey corbin, Michael Stephenson here. Super cool to hear you are headed on a backpacking trip through Europe…I back packed through Europe for over 3 months making a travel agency sponsored documentary called European Sun. It was one of the best experiences of my life. I have since wanted to go back for a month with my wife, Lindsay. You are going to have an incredible time.

Anyway, drop me a note if you want any ideas/suggestions. How long are you going to backpack? Also, Prague and Barcelona are a must. Greece is a amazing and then you have the unbeatable typicals (france, italy, germany, swizterland). Gimmelwald is an amazing, quaint little town nestled in the swiss Alps…you have to ride a gondola up a cliff side and then hike into this little town. Very relaxing and unlike any place I have ever been,

Anyway drop me a note and I can give you some more ideas.

You are going to LOVE Europe.

adios

Michael

Hey Corbin, I don’t know you but your mom and 2 sisters came in to my salon to get manicures and pedicures from me. We had a good talk about you and your mom mentioned that you were part of a improve group. Well i am moving back to Cali on Saturday and she told me to send you an e-mail and let you know i am interested in doing it with you guys. I have been wanting to start or be a part of an LDS improve group when i got back to Cali so i think it was a blessing meeting your family. I am also working on a few lds films at the moment and your sisters (the not shy one) was interested in being in the movie The First Vision that we are filming next year.. So I thought i would drop you a line and find out a little bit about this.. I would love to hear back from you.. Tell your family i said hi when you see them this weekend..

Well, I feel really out of touch with the adult world. I just saw the movie Diamonds and my husband and I look up actors we enjoy to see what we can look forward to. At first I could only find info from 2000. I’m not the most computer savvy 26 year old in the world. Then I found this site and was very excited to find out that you’re still around and doing great things. I was sooo excited to learn you are LDS and not letting the glamour of Hollywood lead you astray. My husband and I will definitly be on the lookout for your new album and if we get a chance to watch anything other than Playhouse Disney, we’ll be on the lookout for more of your TV/movie works! Keep up the great work!

Hello Corbin Allred,
My name is Calvin Dang and i am currently serving in Iraq with the U.S. Army. I’m not much of a movie watcher but a good friend of mine kept wanting me to watch Saints and Soldiers. This movie has given me hope and strength to help me overcome the trials of war and many of the unseen things of war. I am also LDS. I am a convert and my 1 year mark just passed on 27th March 2006. I love your role in the movie Saints and Soldier. So much dedication and selflessness and righteousness… The war over here is more than a war in Iraq. Thanks you for helping the LDS soldiers over here in the middle east.

Hello,
I returned home from my mission to Germany just before Saints and Soldiers came to our theater here in Ogden, and I loved it. It was very inspiring, and your German was perfect. How did you learn German anyway? I thought it was too good for you just to have learned enough for the part. I then saw you in Take a Chance and thought it was another excellent performance. I wish we had more actors who stands by high standards.
Thanks

So, I had NO idea you were a musician too! I was on Kirby Heyborne’s Myspace, and I saw you as one of his friends, so I went to check your myspace out. Your songs are AMAZING! You are very talented. Keep up to good work.

Corbin,
Dude, you are like a really good actor. I liked you in Saints and Soldiers. Was Josh Kirby: Time Warrior like your first movie experience or what? Man, I grew up on Josh Kirby: Time Warrior. That’s really coo’ that you stuck with the acting…and you added singing too, tight.

Corbin, I wanted to thank you for the clean movies you have been in. It is nice to view movies with my wife and know that they are clean. It is not every day that you hear of an actor who keeps his morals, I commend you for that! Please keep the “clean movies” movement alive! We love them and buy them!

Comment by James Mickelsen — June 20, 2006 @ 8:49 pm

Hi Corbin,

I hope & pray this doesn’t put you out of your way at all. My name is Camilyn. You may not remember me, I had two small children with me. Me and my daughter had an on-going bet that it was you in that Sabrina (halloween) episode. (Enclosed a small pic to remind you–I hope that helps) I met you back in November after your show, “Saints & Singers,” I thanked you for bringing me back to believing in God. My husband is an atheist and I sometimes get beyond confused between what is real or not, but I told you what you brought to that screen, in Saints & Soldiers, brought me back to believing again. It went deeper than that–I reread in my journal the impressions I had after watching your show for the first time. I had chills reading my journal in it I wrote, “I have never been more profoundly effected by a movie in my life. Somehow music is my mission. When I see Corbin Allred, I see my mission.” This was before I knew you were a songwriter as well. The chills intensified as I read, “It is so much GREATER than I can foresee right now.” So if I may I would like to thank you again for being an answer to a prayer, that I am sure you were not even aware of at that time.

Anyway, I was completely impressed with your musical talent and you were nice enough to speak to me about the songwriting biz–I currently had a song playing on a radio station in Australia, and was hoping you could refer me to someone here in Utah who could teach me more song-writing lessons, or if you knew of any pluggers in LA that could help me place an alternative/rock song I have currently demoed. Would you mind if I send an MP3 file of the song your way–to see if it is even worthy in your opinion to place it somewhere?

I know this is a lot to ask, and I wouldn’t have even dreamed of bothering you or your family with this, but I don’t know where else to turn. I was seriously at a standstill with my music in general and I found I was almost getting somewhat depressed over it, then like lightning out of nowhere I remembered something you told me that night, you told me to keep going and to put a star by my name on my e-mail address to remind you who I was and you’d check in with me if you could help. It’s taken me a while to gather my courage to write–I do NOT like to put anyone out of their way, especially someone as busy as you are, but I felt I had to try. I would like to apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

If I knew who else I could go to, I would.

What can I say–I dream high and fall hard. Thanks for your time. Let me know if it would be okay to send that song.

All my love to you and your family,

Camilyn

Corbin,
I had the great privelege to watch Saints and Soldiers a short time ago. I am a combat veteran, and I was very moved by your portrayals. This was the best movie I’ve seen in quite some time. I didn’t know of you before this picture, but since, you’ve developed a fan who will seek out your work. Best Regards.

Hey there Corbin,
I just recently came upon your work and realized you were a friend of my sister in laws Lisa and Kristi Jensen. I guess they were on your clogging team.
I’m an actress as well and landed my first SAG gig with Anthony Hopkins in “The worlds fastest indian” You inspire me because of your caliber of talent coexisting with being a memeber of the LDS church. It gives me hope for my own career.
Wow, I would love to do a film with you someday!!!

Hi Corbin, or should I say Elder Allred! Don’t know if you remember me from little ‘ol Devonport, Tasmania, you would remember me as Melanie Adaway. Well I got married in March ‘02, (to Elder Parton’s cousin, go figure), and am living in Dundas, New South

Hello Corbin,

I remember watching you on “Teen Angel” during TGIF. Just wanted to say congratulations on the success of “Saints and Soldiers” (I’m still amazed that they made it for $1 million). Thank you for being one of the few actors out there today that isn’t willing to compromise their values for Hollywood. I’m looking forward to hearing your music in the future.

I love Yours and Kirby’s accents in that movie, their great. Do you know when the new Work and the Glory movie is coming to theaters, since you are in it?
I can’t wait for you to come to Utah again!!

Hey Corbin,
Love your new site. Congrats on your movie and music success! You should consider submitting your music for distribution on BurnLounge. I sell music off the site http://www.BurnLounge.com/LDS, and my goal is to ultimately feature all LDS artists. The catalog is slim-pickins right now for L DS musicians. I would love to feature your music on my site.
Good luck in all you do!

Oh man, I was listening to the music on this site and the song Walk The Wire is amazing. It’s got an Ed Kowalczyk sound to it. Could I PLEASE play the song on my show on the radio?

Comment by katene — August 7, 2006 @ 7:07 am

Thanks for your reply.
I’m in New Zealand. I work for a small community radio station which also uploads its shows to our website so that people around the world can listen to the highlights. Normally, we don’t include songs in the highlights due to copyright reasons, but with your permission, then I’d be happy to include it in the uploaded recordings.
I’m the host of the Morning Crew, in which I try to interview as many people as I possibly can in any way possible that doesn’t involve……making toll calls. :) Those shows are available to hear online too.
Our station’s website is http://wairoa.info/radio
Be warned, I’m the one who still has the Aussie accent. I spent a few too many years over in Sydney. :D Anyway, yeah. Have a listen, and let me know what you think. It’s always great getting feedback.
The thing with your music, I’d love to wait for your album to come out, but the copy that I’ve heard is great because it has a warm feeling to it, which can be pretty hard to emulate in a studio.

Brother Allred my name is Joshua Scott Creamer, you met my family in Utah. Tami Creamer is my mom. She wrote the music stand as a witness. My sister Jessica said that you were very nice and that you know sister Rancie she is serving her mission in Guam Micronesia. So it is a small world after all. Well brother Allred. I am wondering first of all if you will write my e-mail address. I’m sure you have when I registered but if not it is scosh_guam@yahoo.com the reason I want you to write this is because I am writting a screenplay, and I am hoping that I can get a hold a Ryan little to help me direct it. It takes place during world war two and your performance in Saints and Soldiers was amazing that I know that you would do a good job playing one of the characters. Please write me whenever you can. I would really like to meet you, and my sister asked you if you would like to come to Guam. Well I’m kind of asking that of you to and if there is something that will get you to come, I may even pay for some of your ticket. I don’t really have the money but I’ll come up with it some how. I am just asking mainly if you will be in my movie that I want to direct and if you would tell Ryan Little about it and have him e-mail me too. Please Brother Allred write me back and please write me at my e-mail address. That would mean a lot to me. Please. Sincerely Joshua Scott Creamer

Hello Corbin from Georgia U.S.A. I always put that cause there’s also a Georgia in Russia.
Anyway I really loved your movie ‘Saints and Soldiers’. I am a history buff and collect books and movies about or based on history. When I saw your movie at the Movie Gallery I rented it just to see what it was like. I mean it is about the 2nd World War. Anyway I was so impressed with it that I bought it and added it to my collection.

I’m not a Mormon but I really liked the way that your religion was not emphasised but yet there was a black book (it looked just like a Holy Bible that my father had - I got it after he died) and so , to me, that’s what it was. I really liked the way the movie portrayed hope and sacrifice for others, something you don’t see too often in movies anymore.
Anyway, I’m a fan and am really looking forward to seeing you many more movies.

Thank you for coming to Tucson, AZ. Would you please come and see us again! My family are still talking about you and Kirby. I hope you enjoyed the picture I gave you of my three year old snuggling up to you. Today I showed her the cover of the movie, Take a chance. I asked her who is this (pointing to Kirby) she said, I don’t know. I then pointed to you and asked her who is this. She said, “Corbin! I love him”. Now she won’t stop asking when you are coming to eat dinner with us. She wants to know where you are. You have a short fam with a very big heart for you. My family loves your music, when is your CD coming out? Thank you again for coming. Let’s make a tradition that you come to Tucson once a year.

Not saying your not worth it now, just can’t afford it. Hey man!

The reason I am at your site is because I have always wondered if we are related. Ever since I was little and I watched Robinhood: Men in Tights with my cousins. It was my cousins Kristy and Valorie Watt that got me believing we were related. If you know more than I do, I would love to hear about it. If not, it’s cool to share the same last name with a great LDS actor.

That is probably the real reason I am at your site… I was doing some random searches on LDS actors and you pop up first on the list every time. Then I remembered the things my cousins told me. It’s definitely cool to see your name scroll the credits and tell people I am related to you. Even if not, I might still tell people that. Ha! Jokes.

Well peace out man and I wish you continued success in your life. Live deep!

Peace

BIOGRAPHY

Corbin Allred was born on May 25, 1979 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Michael and Diane Allred. He is the second oldest of four. Growing up in an extremely close family, Corbin’s parents, his older brother Jason, and two younger sisters, Aleece and Kelsey were and are his biggest supporters and fans. From the very beginning, Corbin developed a serious imagination. Pretending to be someone else was always a favorite past time. During one year at Oakdale Elementary he gave a haunting performance playing Banquo in the schools production of Shakespeares Macbeth. He loved being in front of people and causing them to feel emotion. This was only the beginning. Who would of have thought back then that this performance would be the first of his career? Nobody had a clue about what was to come, especially not Corbin. One day, when Corbin was about 11 years old, he was hanging out at a close friends house. His friends mom announced that it was time to go to “clogging” practice. Corbin had no idea what this woman was talking about. His friend then informed him that he had started taking dance classes at a local studio and that he had to go to clogging class that night
